39 companies applied, 23 intralogistics providers from seven countries with 25 devices and solutions are in the final, including seven start-ups.

The nominated start-ups are: 1MRobotics, Loady, ff Fördersysteme, HUNIC, Predimo, Sentics and sereact.
Starting on March 27, they will complete the three-stage IFOY audit as part of the TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS. It consists of a functional test as well as a scientific innovation check, which is realised by specialists of the Fraunhofer IML, the University of Dresden, the Technical University of Munich and the Fraunhofer IPA. Finally, the jury of trade journalists from 19 countries travels to the Ruhr region to test the nominees themselves.
Innovation value, technology, ergonomics and handling, safety, marketability, design and customer benefits as well as economic efficiency and sustainability are the criteria that are evaluated. An important principle is that the finalists of a category are not compared with each other, but with their competitors on the market.
TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS for B2B guests
The IFOY finalists are among the top highlights of TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS, which will open its doors for the third time to a limited number of visitors interested in innovation on March 29 and 30, 2023 in Exhibition Hall 3 in Dortmund. Driving forklifts, operating all types of warehouse technology, comparing AMRs, trying out software, working with exoskeletons or interacting with robots - at the TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS everything will once again be about hands-on testing of the best innovations and technologies in intralogistics.
Up to 100 preselected innovations and new products from ten countries will be available for self-testing on 10,000 square metres of hall space, including a special test area for exoskeletons and ergonomic innovations. In addition, the VDMA is preparing a new edition of the live test of the VDA 5050 communication interface as part of the AGV Mesh-Up.
The programme will be completed by guided highlight tours and top-class panel discussions on the subject of innovation management.
