The Warsteiner Brewery is a family business based in Warstein in North Rhine-Westphalia, which has developed over nine generations into a globally active company with around 1,000 employees. The brewery is in family hands since its foundation in 1753 and is managed by Catharina Cramer as owner since 2012.

The Warsteiner Brewery eventually evolved to the Haus Cramer Group – also family-owned – which today includes numerous breweries, shareholdings and subsidiaries in Germany and abroad. In addition to the production and distribution of various beverages, the business covers other business areas that are geared towards the needs of the food service industry and consumers.

In addition to the beers of the Warsteiner Brewery, the beverage portfolio of the Haus Cramer Group includes the products of the Herforder Brewery, the Frankenheim private brewery, the Paderborner Brewery, the Bavarian König Ludwig Schlossbrauerei Kaltenberg and the Irish Rye River Brewing Company. The beverage group is also responsible for the domestic German distribution of the Berlin based brewery BrewDog as well as the Spanish brand Estrella Galicia and other diverse international brands. Outside the beer industry, the family-owned company is active in the functional drinks segment with a stake in the Augsburg based start-up hye.

The Haus Cramer Group sells its products on all continents of the world in more than 60 countries. Since more than 25 years, Warsteiner Premium Pilsener in particular is consumed around the globe.
