Fronius is partner of the  IFOY AWARD

Fronius International GmbH has been named the partner of the IFOY Award. From the 2016 voting period, the battery charging specialist will support the worldwide intralogistics award and supply battery charging technology for the IFOY Test. An agreement with a duration of five years was signed in August in Munich.

IFOY AWARD 2015: the winners of the "Intralogistics Oscars" ... 

The names of the winners of the International Forklift Truck of the Year (IFOY) Award 2015 were, as always, a well-kept secret. When the congratulatory speakers announced the names of the recipients last Tuesday at 9 pm at the IFOY Award Night at BMW World in Munich, the celebrations began. Jungheinrich, Still and UniCarriers won the prestigious IFOY Awards in four categories, and the metal and glass trophies were presented to the delighted recipients to the accompaniment of applause from the 160 invited guests.

IFOY Test Days 2015: jury tests nominated forklift and warehouse trucks 

The excitement was almost tangible: during the test days for the International Forklift Truck of the Year, IFOY for short, on February 25 and 26 in Osnabrück, 22 jury members tested 12 trucks from manufacturers Clark, Jungheinrich, Still, Toyota and UniCarriers that had previously been nominated for the final round. 80 invited guests made the trip to Osnabrück to watch the tests as they were being carried out on the site of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.

Februar in Osnabrück, testeten 22 Juroren ein Dutzend Geräte der Hersteller Clark, Jungheinrich, Still, Toyota und UniCarriers, die zuvor für die Endrunde nominiert worden sind. 80 geladene Gäste waren nach Osnabrück angereist, um die Tests auf dem Gelände von Hellmann Worldwide Logistics live zu verfolgen.

IFOY Award 2015: the nominees are ...

The nominations for the International Forklift Truck of the Year (IFOY) Award 2015 are in. In the first selection round, the jury chose 14 trucks and solutions from Clark, Jungheinrich, Still, Toyota Material Handling and Unicarriers for the final round from all the entries. Newly developed trucks, trucks that represent further developments or special models with significant technical improvements that have come onto the European market since December, 2013 were eligible for the award. "2014 was a CeMAT year with a whole host of innovations. There was consequently a great deal of interest in entering for the IFOY Award. Only the best of the best in terms of innovation have made it into the final round", says Anita Würmser, Chairperson of the IFOY Jury.

Europe's most prestigious intralogistics award is once again ready for take-off. While the winners of the International Forklift Truck of the Year Award 2014, IFOY Award for short, are still celebrating, the preparations for the IFOY 2015 selection phase are already in full swing. The IFOY entrant portal at www.ifoy.org opens on September 18, and all manufacturers of MHE vehicles and providers of intralogistics services are called on to enter for one of the five coveted awards in the period up to December 1, 2014.

Hellmann becomes official logistics partner
of the  IFOY AWARD

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has been awarded the contract for the logistics of the IFOY Award  (International Forklift Truck of the Year). As "Official Logistics Partner", the Osnabrück-based logistics service provider is responsible for the transport of all nominated vehicles as well as for the infrastructure and organisation of the IFOY Test Week for the 2015 IFOY selection phase.
