IFOY AWARD 2019: Finalists announced
The finalists for this year's IFOY AWARD (International Intralogistics and Forklift Truck of the Year) are nominated. From the pool of applicants for the seventh round of the world-renowned award the jury will send 15 products and solutions from a dozen manufacturers into the race for the best products and solutions of the year.
IFOY AWARD Supports Startup Companies
Intralogistics start-ups better watch out. For the first time in history, newcomers have a distinct place at IFOY. The IFOY award, seen as the most important intralogistics prize worldwide, has introduced a special category in which newly founded companies can submit their innovations to the competition.
IFOY Award Appoints Four New Jurors
Winfried Bauer, editor-in-chief of the German intralogistics journal "f+h Fördertechnik, Materialfluss, Logistik 4.0", Paul Hamblin, editor-in-chief of "Logistics Business" and "logisticsbusiness.com" in Great Britain and Gilles Solard, publisher and editor-in-chief of the well-known French logistics magazine "Stratégies Logistique" are the newly elected jurors. Anders Karlsson was re-elected after transferring to the Swedish logistics magazine "Svensk Åkeritidning" as editor-in-chief.
IFOY AWARD 2019: Applicant Portal is reopened
Once again it is time for the top class in intralogistics: The applicant portal for the world's most important intralogistics award opened today. Manufacturers of products and system solutions can apply with their new developments and warehouse projects over the coming six months.
The Winners of the IFOY AWARD 2018
The IFOY Award is always worth the surprise and once again lived up to its reputation this year. After six months of trial and selection, the decision was tighter than ever before. As per usual, the cheering was overwhelming when the laudatory speakers revealed the traditionally well-kept secret of the winners at the CeMAT opening ceremony.
Witron's Migros Omnichannel Warehouse wins IFOY AWARD
The IFOY Award 2018 in the category "Integrated Warehouse Solutions" goes to Witron Logistik + Informatik GmbH for the Migros Distribution Center Suhr AG in Switzerland. The cheering was overwhelming when Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Michael ten Hompel, Managing Director of Fraunhofer IML, revealed the traditionally well-kept secret of the winner at the CeMAT opening ceremony.
Still RX 20 is Best Forklift Truck of the Year
The IFOY Award 2018 in the category "Counter Balanced Truck" goes to the new RX 20 of Still GmbH, Hamburg. The international jury selected the 1.6-ton truck, which was unveiled in January, as the best new counterbalanced truck. The cheering was overwhelming when Frank Dreeke, Chairman of the Executive Board at BLG Logistics Group revealed the traditionally well-kept secret of the winner at the CeMAT opening ceremony.
