IFOY Award Appoints Four New Jurors

  • Editors-in-chief from Germany, France, Great Britain and Sweden appointed to the IFOY jury.
  • Application phase for the IFOY Award 2019 runs until October 30.

Ismaning near Munich, August 7, 2018. The IFOY organization has appointed four more jurors.
Winfried Bauer, editor-in-chief of the German intralogistics journal "f+h Fördertechnik, Materialfluss, Logistik 4.0", Paul Hamblin, editor-in-chief of "Logistics Business" and "logisticsbusiness.com" in Great Britain and Gilles Solard, publisher and editor-in-chief of the well-known French logistics magazine "Stratégies Logistique" are the newly elected jurors. Anders Karlsson was re-elected after transferring to the Swedish logistics magazine "Svensk Åkeritidning" as editor-in-chief.
A total of 28 editors-in-chief of leading international logistics publications from 19 nations are now part of the IFOY jury. Once again, in spring 2019 they will test and select the world's best intralogistics products and solutions.
The application phase for the IFOY Award 2019 is currently in full swing. Suppliers of material handling products and intralogistics solutions can apply until October 30 of 2018 with their innovations and warehouse projects in a total of eleven categories. For the first time, startups also have a permanent position at the IFOY Award.
Due to its high level of expertise, the IFOY Award is seen as the authoritative innovation award in intralogistics. The voting process is preceded by a wide-ranging nomination and testing cycle, during which the qualified trucks are rigorously put through their paces. The sponsor of the IFOY Award is the VDMA Materials Handling and Intralogistics Sector Association.

The International Intralogistics and Forklift Truck of the Year (IFOY AWARD) recognises the year's best intralogistics products and system solutions.
