Ismaning near Munich, July 22, 2024. The IFOY AWARD is going into a new round: The application portal for the International Intralogistics and Forklift Truck of the Year (IFOY AWARD) is open until October 30 and intralogistics providers worldwide can apply with their new developments and customer projects for one of the most important intralogistics awards worldwide.

There are a total of ten categories to choose from for 2025, covering all areas of application in intralogistics. Forklift trucks and warehouse technology equipment through to individually manufactured special vehicles are all eligible to apply. Automated and autonomous industrial trucks, stationary and mobile robots, software and outstanding technical details or components such as ergonomic innovations, safety solutions or warehouse aids now form the largest IFOY field of applicants. Awards are also presented for successfully implemented integrated warehouse and automation projects for customers.

A separate Spin-Off Award is presented to start-up companies. Newly founded companies can apply for the IFOY Start-up of the Year Award with their products and solutions.

Applications for both awards can only be submitted online at www.ifoy.org. The conditions of participation can be requested from the IFOY office at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. The deadline for applications is October 30, 2024.

The IFOY AWARD has established itself as an indicator of efficiency and innovation and is considered a highly coveted innovation award in intralogistics due to its technical expertise and outstanding marketing value. The jury, which includes the editors-in-chief of leading international logistics media, makes its decision independently, according to transparent criteria and on the basis of professional expertise.

IFOY TEST DAYS and TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS in March 2025

At the IFOY TEST DAYS, those nominated by the jury undergo the three-stage IFOY audit, consisting of the IFOY Test, the scientific IFOY Innovation Check and the jury test. The decisive factor is that the nominees are not compared with each other, but with their competitor products on the market.

The IFOY TEST DAYS will take place again next year as part of the TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS at Messe Dortmund, which opens its doors on March 26 and 27. The IFOY TEST DAYS begin two days earlier - on the afternoon of March 24 with the first functional tests. On March 25, the IFOY finalists will undergo the scientific IFOY Innovation Check and present their innovations to a jury of trade journalists from 19 countries.

The TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS is a test event with an accompanying congress. This event format is all about hands-on testing of selected innovations and new developments in warehouse and material handling technology. Decision-makers from industry, trade and services with a specific interest in innovation and investment have the opportunity to extensively test around 100 selected exhibits themselves on around 10,000 square meters of hall space and exchange ideas with experts on current trends and developments.

The IFOY AWARD, which is under the patronage of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection, is sponsored by the Materials Handling and Intralogistics Association and the Robotics + Automation Association of the VDMA. IFOY partners are Messe Dortmund and the world's leading forklift attachment manufacturer Cascade. The logistics partner is LTG.
