IFOY organisation to assign seven seats on the jury 
Jury is Being Expanded

The jury for the International Forklift Truck of the Year (IFOY Award) is being expanded, and up to seven new members will be appointed for the 2013/14 voting period, with the emphasis on jury members from Russia, Turkey, Belgium, France, Italy and the UK. One of the German seats on the jury will also have a new occupant due to a change in Editor-in-Chief.

The jury chooses the winner of the IFOY Award in four categories once a year and represents the organisation in the public sphere. The members of the jury must not be directly economically dependent on a manufacturer or dealer. The other rights and duties of the jury are set out in the IFOY Statutes (www.ifoy.org).

The jury members represent internationally leading logistics media. The criteria for the appointment of jury members include circulation and number of subscribers, circulation surveys, print and online expertise, specialist know-how as well as "soft factors" like editorial quality or editorial independence.
The IFOY jury currently comprises 14 members from a total of eight countries.
