The International Intralogistics and Forklift Truck of the Year has three bodies.

The centrepiece of IFOY is the expert jury made up of highly reputed trade journalists and the leading European logistics media. The job of the jury is to select the IFOY Award winners and to promote the ongoing development of the award.

The sponsor of the IFOY Award is the VDMA Materials Handling and Logistics Systems Sector Association.
The sponsor sets up a specialist advisory committee. The members of the committee represent the international manufacturers, associations and organisations. The job of the specialist advisory committee is to advise the IFOY organisation on technical and content-related matters.

The jury alone has voting rights.
