IFOY AWARD 2023
IFOY AWARD meets TRANSFER.FESTIVAL

 

On June, 22 2023, the IFOY AWARD cooperated for the first time with the TRANSFER.FESTIVAL of the Digital.Hub Logistics and the Fraunhofer Institute for Logistics and Material Flow IML. Before the IFOY AWARD Night took place at 6 p.m. in the Dortmunder U, numerous IFOY finalists, VIP guests and scientists met at the Fraunhofer IML under the festival motto "make, transfer, network". Of the total of 14 sessions, the IFOY AWARD organised two fish bowls on the topics of sustainability and automation. In the Fish Bowl on sustainability, host Thilo Jörgl (IFOY AWARD organisation) was joined by: Volker Fennemann, Head of Department Environment and Resource Logistics, Fraunhofer IML, Raimund Paetzmann, Vice President Logistics Network Expansion and Real Estate, Zalando, Frank Müller, Senior Vice President Brand Management STILL, STILL, Andrea Goeman, Senior Vice President Sustainability, JAS Worldwide.

In addition to host Dr Jana Jost (Fraunhofer IML), three experts took part in question and answer sessions with the guests in the automation fish bowl: Mikhail Voloskov, Managing Director, Volume Lagersysteme, Guido Follert, Head of Department Machines and Systems, Fraunhofer IML, Thilo Koch, Senior Vice President Network, Solution Design and Product Development, Schenker AG.
